CENTRAL NEW YORK MINI SPRINTS TO INVADE THE WOODHULL RACEWAY, SATURDAY, AUGUST 5, 2006.
(Woodhull, NY) The Woodhull Raceway will open the month of August just like they have the past half dozen years with an event that has become a tradition. The Central New York Mini Sprint Organization will make their yearly trek to the Southern Tier of New York and try once again to tame the high banks of the Woodhull Raceway.
The Mike Emhof led group has become so popular at the historic Steuben County oval that new track owner, Vern Wasson has booked a second date for the wonderful winged things on Saturday, Sept. 23 along with the 600cc NYMM. Fans from across the Twin Tiers annually flock to Woodhull to see the CNYMS as they always put on a great show and for the second consecutive year, Multi Media Services of Corning will host the event. Multi Media President, Rick Barthlomew along with Checkered Flag Magazine editor, Patty Carlson, their families and several other Multi Media employees and staff members will be on hand at Woodhull to enjoy the night of action.
In addition to the CNYMS it will be a Regular BIG 6 Show of all of Woodhull’s regular classes including the L.J. Kennedy Trucking 358 Modifieds, the NAPA Super Stocks, the Morgan’s Auto Repair Street Stocks, the Signs Plus of Kanona Mini’s, the S&W Awards and Photos Warriors along with the all new LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts FWD Enduro class.
Gates for the August 5 show open at 4:30 with racing at 6:45. For any additional information simply go to the web at www.woodhullraceway.com.
